Mary Jo Smith
Vice President Human Resources and Administration
Ms. Smith was appointed Vice President in 2024, having previously served as Denison's Director, Human Resources and Director, Internal Audit. Prior to joining Denison in 2007, Ms. Smith held positions at Centerra Gold and Imperial Oil Ltd. Ms. Smith has extensive and broad experience in the resource sector, having held senior management positions in the fields of Audit, Accounting, Marketing and Human Resources. Ms. Smith is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CMA), a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a concentration in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resources Management from the Lazardis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.
